The two galleries below contain work made by my students in response to the current Corona virus pandemic. The first gallery consists of drawings that students made to reflect how they were feeling during the first week of remote classes, March 22-29, 2020.
The second gallery consists of drawings made in response to current media imagery. Students were asked to select an image online from a daily hard news source and transform it into something new.
In my thirty plus years of teaching college art, I have found that college-age adults have an uncanny ability to tap directly into the larger social consciousness.
